Ticket Questions
Yes! You can purchase concert tickets at the Fair box office. Admission tickets can be purchased at each gate through the run of the Fair. Fair Lift tickets can be purchased at the north or south end of the grounds at the Fair Lift box office.
You can buy ADA concert tickets in our main office or online at oregonstatefair.org.
Please note that each ADA platform only holds 10 people in total.
We offer free admission for caretakers attending with clients. This does not include free carnival rides or concert tickets.
Yes, you will need to create a Funcard account to buy tickets. Here’s how to set an account up:
- Visit oregon.funcardapp.com/register
- Input your Name and Email
- Type your desired password
- Re-type your desired password
- Hit “register”
- Now check your email for a verification link
- Open up your email from Funcard and click on the verification link. You must click on this link to verify your account before you can buy tickets to the 2025 Oregon State Fair.
- Clicking on the verification link will take you back to the Funcard site and you’ll see “Account Verified!”
- You’re done verifying your account!
- When you’re ready to purchase, visit oregon.funcardapp.com/login to login to your account and start making your purchases.
If you can’t find your verification email, please check your SPAM folder.

- Enter your email address and click the “send password reset email” button
- Check your Email Inbox for your password reset link

Official tickets to Oregon State Fair concerts are ONLY available to purchase at the Fair box office or via the Fair’s website at oregonstatefair.org and through our ticket provider, FunCard.
Beware of all unauthorized online ticketing websites attempting to sell bogus tickets that cannot be honored by the Oregon State Fair. We cannot offer refunds if you buy an unauthorized ticket.
Please visit oregon.funcardapp.com and log-in using the email address you used to purchase your tickets. If you forgot your password, select “forgot password” and follow the instructions.
After you’ve logged in, look at the event you purchased to find your tickets listed there.
Carnival Questions
The Carnival opens at 10 a.m. daily and closes when the Fair closes each night. Carnival rides open daily at 11 a.m.
Friday – Sunday and Sept. 1 Carnival Hours: 10 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Sunday – Thursday Carnival Hours: 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.
If you buy an Unlimited Carnival Ride Wristband (Monday-Friday), get ready to max out on thrills! When you buy your wristband before the fair, you’ll be sent a QR code you can exchange for a wristband when you get to the fairgrounds.
Your wristband is only valid for one person on one day only, Monday through Friday. It includes three games and one medium drink. Fair Admission is not included.
If you bought a Presale 125 Ticket Carnival Pack, you can use your tickets on any carnival ride or carnival game you choose.
Games range from 1-12 tickets each and rides range from 10-15 tickets each. Your ticket card doesn’t expire and can be used on any day of the Fair. Redeem it inside the Fair at any Rainier Amusements Carnival Ticket Booth.
We cannot be responsible for inclement weather and therefore we do not offer refunds. Some rides may be closed if there are unsafe weather conditions.
We encourage you to wear closed-toed shoes (some rides require it) and avoid wearing any loose clothing. It’s also a good idea to pull long hair up into a ponytail.
Children under 2 are not permitted on any rides. Others must be personally responsible to be in good health and free of any conditions that may be aggravated by the rides.

Yes, some rides have minimum height requirements.
Check all rides to make sure you are tall enough. We post signs that have the height requirement and any specific guidelines at each attraction. For your safety, we strictly enforce these requirements.

The carnival at the Oregon State Fair promises to be as fun and thrilling as ever, thanks to the professional efforts of Rainier Amusements of Portland.
Their awesome collection of rides and games is a big reason why so many people make plans to attend the fair. This year, there will be seven new rides, with a total of 55 rides to experience! Of those, 10 are what we call spectaculars that can raise the hair on your arms. They include the Arctic Blast Coaster, the Giant Wheel, Medusa, Freak Out, Insominiac, Pirate Ship, Wave Swinger, Ali Baba, Kamikaze and Music Fest. Ride list is subject to change.
All rides take between 10-15 tickets. All games take between 1-12 tickets.
No, we do not have lockers and we encourage you to leave your belongings with family or a friend as some rides do not allow you to take any items on. Some rides allow you to leave your belongings on the deck of the ride, but our ride operators are not responsible for watching your items.
Concert Questions
Yes! When you buy a concert ticket it also serves as a fair admission ticket! Just show your concert ticket barcode at the gate.

Reserved seat tickets range from $50 to $145 depending on the show and seat location. Limited free admission is available for each concert on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes. The fair offers limited, free concert seating at L.B. Day Amphitheater. Those seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There will also be limited, free ADA seating on a first-come, first-served basis. For guaranteed admission, we recommend purchasing a reserved ticket.
Lines for free seats form on either side of the L.B. Day Amphitheater, closest to the back (see below). Lines typically form between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Limited free concert seating in L.B. Amphitheater will be available to fairgoers on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last. For guaranteed admission, we recommend you purchase a reserved ticket.
Every person of any age who enters the L.B. Day Amphitheater requires their own concert ticket, to ensure a proper seat for every guest.
Babies who will be securely strapped to their guardian in a carrier for the entire concert do not require a ticket. The Oregon State Fair recommends that all guardians provide proper sound protection for young ears.
Concerts are held rain or shine. No refunds will be issued.
Competition Questions
We have many competitions open in the Livestock department including:

Competitions open in the Creative Living department include:
- Agriculture and Horticulture: Farm & Garden, Floral, and Honey
- Crafts and Hobbies: Handcrafts, Paper Arts, Poetry, and Collectibles & Treasures
- Culinary & Entertaining: Baked Foods, Preserved Foods, Decorated Cakes, and Decorated Tables and Trees
- Textiles: Fiber Arts, Needlework & Clothing, and Quilting
- Visual Arts: Calligraphy, Fine Art, and Photography
- STEM: Building Blocks
Unfortunately, the Homebrew Beer competition will not occur in 2025.

Pavilion Fast Pass Questions
We’re excited to once again host a selection of thrilling motorsports events in the Pavilion as part of Motor Mania!

Pavilion events are free with Fair admission while space lasts. Seats are first-come, first-served and they fill up fast.
For guaranteed admission we recommend purchasing a $5 Fast Pass for the day of the show to get early access to the Pavilion.
Note: Fast Passes do not include Fair Admission. Fair Admission can be purchased separately.
With a Pavilion Fast Pass, you are guaranteed entry into the Pavilion on the day of the event!
Fast Pass holders can enter the Pavilion an hour before each event.

ADA seating is available on the main seating Pavilion concourse in the following sections: 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 24, 25.
Pavilion events are free with Fair admission, but are first-come, first-served, while space lasts. Seats fill up fast, so if you want guaranteed admission for events, buy a $5 Fast Pass for the day of this show. That’ll get you admission to this event and early access to the Pavilion, too!
(Note: Fast Passes do not include Fair Admission. Fair Admission can be purchased separately.)
Safety Questions
The Oregon State Police operate a dispatch center on the fairgrounds during the fair.
Oregon State Troopers are stationed at every entrance to the fair, keeping a watchful eye on everything and everyone entering or leaving the fairgrounds.
Oregon State Troopers patrol in pairs, constantly moving throughout all areas of the fairgrounds.
The following items are prohibited on OSFEC property unless specifically authorized in this rule:
- Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters
- Unauthorized vehicles
- Weapons
- Destructive devices
- Fireworks, explosives or explosive devices, and inflammables
- Outside alcohol or alcoholic beverages
- Cannabis products
- Controlled substances
- Open containers
- Any other object or objects which in the opinion of OSFEC’s Director/CEO or designee may affect the safety and well-being of persons attending events on OSFEC property
- Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, vaporizers and oil/pens, will be limited to areas designated by the OSFEC Director/CEO or his designee
- Operating drones within the interior grounds and vertical perimeter of OSFEC property is prohibited unless approved by the OSFEC Director/CEO or designee. Approval requires compliance with all State of Oregon and federal statutes and rules regarding drone operation.
Exceptions to the above prohibitions are limited to:
- Weapons of OSFEC law enforcement officials and those carried by persons authorized by law to carry them when carried in a manner authorized by law
- Alcoholic beverages and alcoholic beverage containers belonging to licensed concessionaires or catering service contracting with OSFEC
- Prohibited items that have been permitted by OSFEC by a signed agreement
- Fireworks in the custody of any group operating or presenting an OSFEC officially sanctioned fireworks display
- Bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and scooters are permitted on the property outside the fenced areas unless they are part of an OSFEC-approved event or display
- Prescription medications necessary for licensees and contractors to perform their duties, when they possess the authorizing prescriptions
- Employees of OSFEC and its licensees, contractors, and agents may not carry personal prohibited items that are not necessary for the performance of their official duties
- Prohibited items in the possession of OSFEC Exhibitors that are necessary for daily care or preparation of animals and for showing and are used only for preparation and showing purposes
- Such prohibited items are expressly permitted in writing by the OSFEC Director/CEO or designee.
No unauthorized sales or vending on property, unless you have a valid OSF vendor license. Class D violation to conduct business on the property of the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center. ORS 565.610.
By choosing to enter the Oregon State Fairgrounds property, you are volunteering to walk through, and consenting to the use of, weapons detectors and/or detection wands ORS 565.521, 565.456.
When you enter the Oregon State Fairgrounds, you are enter an area where there are public buildings. Unless excepted under ORS 166.370, any person who intentionally possesses a loaded or unloaded firearm or a dangerous weapon while in, on, or adjacent to a public building shall upon conviction be guilty of a Class C felony. NOTE: In accordance with the law, you will be required to show proper I.D. if you are carrying a concealed weapon onto the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center property. ORS 166.370, 166.291, 166.292, 166.360(9) and 166.380.
General Questions
If you purchased a regular Parking Pass it can be redeemed for one car on any day of the Oregon State Fair at the Blue, Orange, or Pink lots. ADA Parking is available in Blue, Orange, Pink, and Yellow lots, as well as the Armory Lot. Refer to our Parking Lot map for locations.
Please note: If entering through the Green Gate, ensure you have purchased your Fair Admission ticket in advance and bring it with you, as the Green Gate does not sell tickets.
If you purchased a Parky Like a Rockstar pass, get ready for Rockstar Treatment! Your pass admits one car to the Rockstar Parking Lot on the date specified.
To enter, drive into the Oregon State Fair through Woodrow St NE. Drive East on Woodrow and show your Parky Pass to the parking attendant at 16th and Woodrow to continue. Then, turn left onto 17th St NE and left again when you see the Parky Like a Rockstar parking lot on your left, across from the Green Gate on your right. From there, you can walk into the Green Gate to start your Fair day in Homegrown Oregon! See the map below for location.
Please note: If entering through the Green Gate, ensure you have purchased your Fair Admission ticket in advance and bring it with you, as the Green Gate does not sell tickets.
Cherriots in Salem offers multiple routes to get you to and from the Oregon State Fair!
Uber and Lyft are also available.
Wheelchair and Electric Scooters rentals are available near the Pink Gate, and the Yellow Gate/Yellow Lot.
Pets are technically allowed on the grounds of OSFEC, but we encourage patrons to consider the safety and comfort of all Fair guests. We recommend leaving your pet at home. In accordance with the ADA, service animals are allowed to accompany people with disabilities in all areas of the facility where the public is allowed to go. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
- Pets must be leashed and under control at all times, with a leash no longer than six feet.
- Pets should not be left unattended.
- Bring containers for water for your pet.
- Clean up after your pet immediately; dispose of waste in designated garbage containers.
- Do not allow pets in areas with food booths, flower beds, or paved surfaces.
- Aggressive pets may be asked to leave the premises.
- Pets should not be left unattended in vehicles; this may result in intervention by OSFEC representatives or authorities.
- Pets are not allowed in areas where animals and livestock are housed or on display, except for service pets with prior notification.

You can bring food with you to the Oregon State Fair!
You can bring an empty, reusable water bottle to refill at our water fountains. Please make sure your bottle is empty before entering the fair.
There are no outside open drinks allowed. Food and factory-sealed non-alcoholic drinks are allowed.
No, we do not allow camping in any parking lots/Oak Grove. It is a fire and safety hazard.
The maximum weight for each Fair Lift seat is 340 lbs.
