Newsboys concert will be a love riot.

The groundbreaking band has been helping define the sound of Christian music for more than two decades. Newsboys’ high-energy live performances and string of megahit singles—including God’s Not Dead, We Believe, and Born Again—continue to make the band one of the genre’s most iconic artists.

Newsboys have sold more than 8 million units, amassing eight Gold® certifications, one Platinum® single certification, 33 #1 radio hits, four GRAMMY® nominations, two American Music Award nominations and multiple Dove Awards. And it’s all due to the talent and hard work of lead vocalist Michael Tait, Jody Davis (guitar), Jeff Frankenstein (keys) and Duncan Phillips (drums).

The band’s new FairTrade Services recording, Love Riot, recently debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart and Top Alternative Albums chart, along with topping numerous other national charts, marking one of the biggest sales weeks for a Christian artist to date.

Love is an emotion the band believes is needed more than ever. That’s why they’re so passionate about the Love Riot album. “When I speak from stage, I often talk about love,” says Tait of the album’s inspiration. “Darkness has been so prevalent in our culture. Let’s have a love riot—it’s time.”

Newsboys ventured west to L.A. in search of just the right sound for the Love Riot project, eventually securing the talents of Mark Needham—notable for his work with Imagine Dragons, The Killers, and Chris Isaak—along with Zach Hall (Five Knives) for a big sonic sound. Recording in a castle overlooking Los Angeles’ Griffith Park, Needham pulled things out of the band they didn’t even know were there, taking tracks from good to great to extraordinary.

Music that encourages and challenges.

Adam Agee

Adam Agee began his musical journey in church, playing and singing in the worship band. He and his friends in the youth group formed the band Stellar Kart and played at youth events all over Arizona and the southwest. The group signed their first major record contract in 2003 and went on to make 7 studio albums and 3 EPs.

In 2014, Adam got an offer from the iconic Christian Rock group Audio Adrenaline to front the band. He accepted and joined the band, immediately falling in love with the ministry they had started called the Hands and Feet Project in the country of Haiti. As a result of multiple trips to Haiti and seeing the ministry first hand, he began to speak about his experiences from stage.

Now, along with being a touring musician, Agee is also an advocate for child sponsorship and humanitarian organizations. He’s just released his first solo ‘ep “Paper Planes” to rave reviews.
