This public display of spelling ability is open to all State Fair guests.
The big brains do their thing on Saturday, September 2.
The world appreciates a good speller. Likewise, the world has long come to think of spelling bees as a kind of competitive sport—one where the brain gets a good workout. Add to that, spelling well is just plain fun. Which is all the reason we need to host The Bee At the Fair, in Columbia Hall on Saturday, September 2.
Competition for kids 12 and younger starts at 2:30 pm. Then at 3:30 pm, teens and adults take the stage.
Registration starts at 10:00 am at the Creative Living information booth on the day of the contest, and lasts until 2:15 pm.
